We are now seeking a Director of Advertising Partnerships to drive revenue growth for The Guardian US. In this role, you will cultivate and expand strategic relationships with advertising clients and agencies in the Finance and Technology verticals.

We are now seeking a Director of Advertising Partnerships to drive revenue growth for The Guardian US. In this role, you will cultivate and expand strategic relationships with advertising clients and agencies in the Finance and Technology verticals.

- Hybrid (mandatory 2-days in office at minimum)
- Full-time, permanent role
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a key contributor within the Revenue Organization, maintaining a strong presence in the marketplace to drive and accelerate The Guardian US's revenue growth.
- Own and grow revenue within the Finance and/or Technology verticals, developing strategic partnerships that drive long-term value.
- Proactively build and maintain a robust pipeline by identifying and developing unique revenue opportunities, while managing the RFP process from submission to wrap-up.
- Engage directly with clients through in-person meetings, industry events, and entertainment, fostering strong relationships and market visibility.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute sales strategies tailored to key agency and client partners.
- Provide accurate revenue forecasting and consistently maintain a clear path to goal within the current quarter.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of experience in digital media sales, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
- Prioritize, plan & execute a comprehensive and well-informed business plan on a quarterly and annual basis
- Established, trusted relationships with senior agency and client partners in the Finance and/or Technology verticals.
- Data-driven and consultative approach to partnership development with a deep understanding of our client's marketing initiatives on an ongoing basis.
- Strong client engagement skills, maintaining a consistent cadence of 5+ client meetings per week while actively managing a dynamic sales pipeline.
- Expertise in selling multiplatform, KPI-driven partnerships, including web content, audio, social, video, events, and programmatic solutions.
- Experience in a news publishing or international media environment (preferred).
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and execute concise, high-impact emails internally and externally.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: 150K - $190K, with a commercial incentive
- 20 days of vacation leave in addition to 11 company holidays and 2 personal days
