Collaborate with educators to ensure accessibility in curriculum and classroom materials. Adapt instructional tools and methods to meet individual student needs. Provide guidance to families and school staff on best practices for supporting visually impaired learners. Participate in virtual IEP meetings, helping to design and implement student plans. Maintain accurate progress reports and documentation for each student served. Qualifications: Active Teacher of the Visually Impaired Certification (state-specific certification required; multiple state certifications preferred). Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Education or related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with visual impairments (preferred). Familiarity with virtual teaching platforms is a plus but not required. Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
