: 1608 PURPOSE OF JOB: The Senior Learning Experience Designer will play a pivotal role in designing, delivering, and optimizing high-impact learning solutions that empower employees to excel in their roles and support FPCU’s strategic objectives. This position combines advanced instructional design expertise with strategic Learning Management System (LMS) administration to deliver scalable, engaging training programs aligned with FPCU’s mission and member service priorities. The role involves end-to-end training content management, leveraging innovative tools to create interactive learning experiences and using LMS analytics to measure and enhance learning outcomes. Additionally, the Senior Learning Experience Designer will drive collaboration with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment of training initiatives with business goals and compliance standards. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Instructional Design and Development Own the full lifecycle of training content, from needs analysis and design to implementation and continuous improvement. Apply advanced instructional design principles (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to create engaging and competency-based training programs. Develop interactive, multimedia-rich learning solutions using tools such as Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline), Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, and AI-driven technologies (e.g., HeyGen, Synthesia, ElevenLabs). Design hands-on activities, real-world scenarios, and assessments to reinforce knowledge retention and skill application. Conduct regular audits of training materials to ensure they remain relevant, accurate, and aligned with organizational goals. LMS Administration and Optimization Serve as the primary administrator for the BVS LMS, managing user accounts, course configurations, and automated workflows. Optimize LMS functionality to improve the user experience, streamline compliance tracking, and automate onboarding processes. Use LMS analytics and reporting tools to evaluate training effectiveness, identify learning trends, and recommend data-driven improvements. Partner with IT and external vendors to resolve technical issues and implement updates to the LMS platform. Stakeholder Collaboration and Strategic Alignment Collaborate with department leaders and subject matter experts to design training programs aligned with organizational priorities and regulatory compliance requirements. Lead strategic initiatives such as Salesforce training rollouts, leadership development programs, and compliance-related training projects. Present training outcomes, ROI, and insights to senior leadership using data-driven methods. Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on best practices in instructional design and LMS optimization. Continuous Improvement and Innovation Identify and implement process improvements to reduce manual workloads (e.g., compliance reporting, onboarding tasks). Leverage emerging technologies to deliver cutting-edge learning experiences that align with FPCU’s culture and values. Regularly evaluate training programs and make recommendations for improvement based on participant feedback, performance data, and business impact metrics. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Minimum 8 years of experience in instructional design, training development, or curriculum design. At least 3 years of LMS administration experience, including expertise in reporting and analytics (BVS LMS experience preferred). Proven experience designing and delivering training in regulated industries (financial services or credit union experience preferred). OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Proficient in Articulate 360, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, and LMS reporting tools. Experience with AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, HeyGen, Synthesia, ElevenLabs, and WellSaidLabs. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to connect with stakeholders at all levels. Strategic thinker with a commitment to continuous improvement and measurable outcomes. Maintain professionalism, adaptability, and accountability in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. The pay range for this position is listed above. Our pay ranges are designed to allow for candidates with various levels of experience and skill to be considered, and to allow room for growth to be achieved in a role over time. Generally, new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their individual combination of experience, knowledge, skills, and education as well as internal equity.
