The new leader of Global Media will execute against the following priorities: Set the direction and vision for where HP should strategically bet across Media, bringing marketing strategies to action. Upgrade the global media model to maximize brand and business growth. Ignite and enable growth and fulfillment of our employees. Responsibilities: Manage and lead a global organization of media professionals, including media strategists, planners, buyers, and analysts. Oversee media buying and negotiation across 70+ countries for all channels, including traditional media (TV, radio, print) and digital media (search, social, display). Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic media partners, media agencies, and AdTech ecosystem partners. Stay up to date on the latest media trends and technologies and identify opportunities for innovation, especially in the commercial (B2B) space. Develop and implement best practices for media planning, buying, and measurement. Ensure compliance with all media regulations and guidelines. Explore opportunities for the Media group to expand its support and contribution to strategic growth initiatives across HP Inc. Guide the operational direction of the team to maximize effectiveness in driving outcomes to grow the HP brand and business while driving continued improvements of the operation. Coach and mentor a group of senior leaders in the group to ensure organizational development and enable the right balance of growth and fulfillment for all employees in the function. Qualifications: 12+ years of experience in a media agency or similar environment, minimum 10 years of people management experience with a proven track record of running large organizations (Agencies and/or Client side). Deep understanding of Brand Marketing, Growth Marketing, Data-/Insights Driven Media Strategy, global and local multichannel activation/execution across traditional and digital media channels. Experience in leading large transformation efforts to amplify media impact to brand and business. Strong knowledge of the consumer and commercial landscape, Marketing and Go to market models (B2C, DTC, B2B). Deep understanding of Account Base Marketing (ABM) is a plus. Experience managing large media campaigns, budgets, and senior stakeholders. A global mindset and the ability to work effectively with teams in different countries and cultures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation skills. Executive (C-level) engagement. Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $250,000 - $350,000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
