Job SummaryThe Digital Marketing Strategist will manage the marketing automation platform and fully leverage its capabilities. The ideal candidate will collaborate with developers, credit union management and third-party vendors to identify opportunities for member growth and increased product adoption per member. The candidate will possess creative and analytical marketing experience and effectively implement all programmatic and operational initiatives through the marketing automation platform and associated programs. They should also understand the business, the industry, competitors, and corresponding operational and marketing goals.Responsibilities and Duties Digital Marketing Platform Strategy + Utilization: Maximize digital marketing platform tools to develop and execute multi-tier email and SMS marketing campaigns, including, but not limited to, landing and pillar page design, lead gen strategy, content and forms, creation and enhancement of member personas and customer journeys. Design and implement automated marketing workflows, including lead nurturing, drip campaigns and new member onboarding, to enhance the member experience and drive retention and adoption of additional products and services. Implement advanced segmentation and personalization strategies to deliver highly targeted and relevant content to key member segments. Support essential marketing and operations initiatives such as managing the lead lifecycle, lead scoring and lead nurturing. Collaborate with key stakeholders to define KPIs, create reporting, and analyze campaign performance, making continual improvement recommendations. Collaborate with teammates and vendors on organic and paid social strategy and content to ensure consistency with marketing and credit union goals. Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics and insights to measure campaign effectiveness, identify missed opportunities and optimize marketing automation workflows for continuous improvement. Planned and performed A/B testing to define and execute enhancements to conversion rates, programs/campaign ROI, and member growth. Data Integrity: Maintain data integrity of marketing CRM using integrated tools to ensure database health and optimal performance.Reporting: Develop and automate performance reports using tools such as Excel and Power BI. These reports include but are not limited to, campaign performance, member match back, sales funnel, customer journey, conversion rates and goal attribution. Platform Management: Function as subject matter expert, proactively researching and implementing the latest and best practices, strategies, and industry standards with a strong emphasis on AI. Additional Responsibilities (as assigned): Stay up to date with digital technologies developments, research new products and trends, make recommendations for implementation, and analyze results. Assist with additional marketing initiatives and departmental duties as needed. Attend and participate in credit union sponsored events.Qualification and SkillsBachelor's Degree in Marketing or Communications2-4 years of experience in digital marketing with an emphasis on email marketingStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights. Highly organized and able to simultaneously manage multiple projects and timelines, delivering analysis and recommendations. Continued education on email marketing, best practices, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and disclosure guidelines to ensure compliance and adherence to ethical marketing standards.
