Job Description/Responsibilities
The Procurement & SKU Room Associate is responsible for maintaining the Reference Product Sample Display (SKU Room), photographing new finished goods, and managing the Image Library. The position also provides support to the Procurement team with Purchase Order creation and updates, system updates, supplier communications, and other support as needed. This position ensures that the SKU Room acts as a full library and accurate baseline for the Procurement and the Sales/Marketing teams.
- Track and order new product samples weekly; review new reference product samples for match to specifications and any defects to provide feedback to the production team.
- Display new reference product samples in the SKU Room and discard obsolete bottles; photograph new bottles, edit those images, and upload them to the Image Library.
- Unpack bottles, manage space in the SKU Room, and maintain an up-to-date maintenance list.
- Create and update purchase orders and communicate with suppliers, supporting new business development projects, updating price lists, and collecting necessary specifications and data.
- Implement a PDS plan to improve at least one competency per year and document progress and roadblocks in the PDS system.
- Develop a Career plan to achieve overall career objectives and communicate clearly with the manager to facilitate succession planning and future opportunities.
- Support Purchasing Managers and SKU Room Sample and Standards Specialist with regular inspection of SKU room references and component part numbers to ensure consistency with specifications.
- Support SKU Sample and Standard Specialist with specification and display sample integrity to drive accurate KPIs.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to collect data including component specifications, production details, and forecasted volumes.

- Strong computer skills and high comfort using technology and systems.
- Strong analytical and technical skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office Products (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Skilled in photography and video editing.
PREFERRED
- Experience in Alcohol Beverage Industry or CPG overall.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or commensurate experience.
- Experience with System 21 ERP software.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
