Job Summary

The Marketing Manager will have a growth mindset and solve market problems using the right products and the right messaging that reaches the right people. You’ll thrive in developing, implementing, and overseeing strategies that communicate a product’s value to your markets. You’ll lead a marketing team but collaborate with a talented team of sales professionals and Product Portfolio Managers to create selling strategies based on user personas, define the brand tone and voice, optimize our brand positioning with our channel partners and be an advocate for the customer journey and overall experience. The Marketing Manager will drive lead generation efforts, sales enablement and own the overall promotion of the Bullard brand.


Direct and oversee the marketing strategy and campaign development for IH&S product lines to increase awareness, engagement and generate demand for products and services.


Strategy:

  • Developing marketing strategies, campaigns and tactics, including content creation, collateral development, website/user experience, and demand generation.
  • Use Salesforce as a tool for segmentation and classification of all prospects, end customers, and channel partners.
  • Brand management strategy bringing the products to life and humanize the impact of the products.


Management:

  • Designing, managing, and evaluating campaigns, establishing KPIs and status tracking.
  • Budget development, tracking, and management.


Collaboration:

  • Working cross-functionally with other internal teams for literature creation, review, and distribution, new product development, deliverables and product launch, tradeshow booth design & product spotlight, internal and external communications.
  • Partner with external local, state and national organizations to serve in community relations capacity, to increase brand awareness and establish Bullard’s place in the market for specific industries.


Research, Plan, Implement and Evaluate:

  • Research, ask the questions; gather information needed to solve for marketing strategy and campaign development.
  • Plan. Define the goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics.
  • Implementation. Execute the plan; disseminate message through campaigns using proper channels and tactics.
  • Evaluate. Measure results; determine success or how to improve.


Reporting:

  • Collecting and reporting on marketing metrics.


Budgeting:

  • Allocate and manage marketing budget for marketing tactics, content creation, trade shows, tools and brand awareness.


Supervision:

  • Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating new and existing staff, as well as overseeing the daily workflow.


Leadership:

  • Lead marketing staff, team projects, and cross functional projects.
  • Develop marketing team business acumen as well as provide opportunities for professional growth.


Supervision:

This position will have supervisory responsibilities over multiple positions based on the needs of the business.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in marketing, business or related technical or business discipline.
  • 4+ years’ experience in marketing, product management, brand management or related field.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% when needed.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Mailchimp, Canva and other marketing software and platforms
  • Growth marketing, demand generation experience while balancing both an analytical and creative approach.
  • Self-motivated, self-managed. Gets stuff done – on time, on budget.
  • You have a high degree of intellectual curiosity.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, business narratives through creative storytelling.


Physical Requirements:

  • This position requires travel to support sales efforts and industry events.
  • Must be able to lift and transport up to 25 pounds, including product samples and marketing materials, particularly when traveling to support industry events.


Location:

This role will be based in the Lexington, KY office with travel as needed.
