What you’ll be doing:
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Instructional Designer to join our Learning and Development (L&D) team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), trainers, and stakeholders to design and develop engaging and effective learning experiences. The Instructional Designer will play a crucial role in creating instructional materials that meet the needs of our organization, enhance learner engagement, and achieve learning objectives.
- Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to analyze learning needs and objectives.
- Design instructional strategies, content outlines, and assessments that align with learning objectives and support organizational goals.
- Develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, job aids, and multimedia assets.
- Create storyboards, scripts, and prototypes to outline and visualize instructional content and interactions.
- Apply adult learning theory, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and best practices in pedagogy to create effective learning experiences.
- Integrate interactive elements, simulations, and assessments to enhance learner engagement and knowledge retention.
- Utilize e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and learning management systems (LMS) to develop and deliver online and blended learning solutions.
- Analyze feedback and performance data to iteratively improve and update learning content based on evaluation results.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience 5 years as an Instructional Designer or similar role, preferably in a corporate or educational setting.
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and learning management systems (LMS).
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) with a focus on designing engaging and interactive learning experiences.
- Experience with multimedia development, including audio/video editing and graphic design principles, is a plus.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
