Position Summary
The Social Media, Event, and Community Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the development and execution of Hoffmann Brothers' and Ferguson Roofing's social media strategies, coordinating community outreach events, and enhancing brand presence through thoughtful engagement with local organizations and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a creative and organized professional with strong analytical skills who can elevate brand visibility, foster meaningful relationships with both online audiences and local communities, and measure the effectiveness of social initiatives. Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Strategy & Coordination:
•Assist in developing and refining Hoffmann Brothers' and Ferguson Roofings' social media strategy to drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and support business objectives.
•Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content across all social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
•Monitor social channels for engagement opportunities, respond to comments, and interact with followers to foster a strong online community.
•Collaborate with the marketing team to develop cohesive photo, video, and graphic content that upholds and strengthens brand consistency & creativity.
•Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to measure campaign effectiveness, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and optimize strategies based on data-driven insights.
•Stay informed about current trends in social media and digital marketing to ensure our strategy remains relevant and competitive.
•Assist in the implementation of the social media influencer program by identifying potential influencers, communicating with them, facilitating contracts, and generating performance reports.
2. Event Coordination & Community Engagement:
•Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing Hoffmann Brothers-sponsored events, including community outreach activities, customer appreciation events, and internal team gatherings.
•Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, vendor management, promotional materials, and staffing.
•Promote events through social media, email marketing, and community outreach to maximize participation and engagement.
•Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, charities, and community groups to support Hoffmann Brothers' community initiatives.
•Serve as the point of contact for community partnerships and charitable events, identifying new opportunities to increase brand awareness and goodwill.
•Attend and represent Hoffmann Brothers at community events, networking opportunities, and professional gatherings.
3. Content Creation & Management:
•Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling content for social media, blogs, and other digital platforms.
•Assist in managing the content calendar to ensure timely and relevant posts.
4. Brand Advocacy & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
•Serve as a brand ambassador, actively promoting Hoffmann Brothers' services, values, and commitment to the community.
•Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to increase brand visibility and market reach.
•Work closely with the marketing team to align social media strategies with overall marketing goals.
•Provide data-driven recommendations to refine content, event promotions, and community engagement initiatives based on key performance metrics.
Requirements
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
•2+ years of experience in social media management, event planning, or community outreach.
•Strong analytical skills with experience measuring social media performance, campaign impact, and engagement metrics.
•Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
•Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
•Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and community building.
•Experience with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
