Position Summary: Atlanta Housing is seeking a Director of Social and Digital Media for our highly collaborative and hard-working Communications, Marketing and Public Engagement team. This person will own the team's strategy and execution of brand-building digital and social media for AH. The ideal candidate is a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is innovative, and who is equal parts futuristic, collaborative, organized, and committed. They will focus efforts on driving brand momentum and awareness of milestones and achievements using the latest and greatest social and digital strategies. They can think big but also put pen to paper to document and communicate across functions. The person who fills this role will have the opportunity to craft, nurture, and further catapult AH into being a housing leader in digital. They will drive and improve resident connectivity and brand relevancy in our vital marketing channels while ensuring that we are aligned in our approach, constantly learning and delivering.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Leverage data, insights, and industry trends to craft strategies that support AH’s digital marketing and communications strategies. Develop and enhance social and digital media campaigns and content for AH, including Google Ads, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), keywords/phrases research, Meta Ad campaigns, and other digital campaigns, blogging with SEO, and HubSpot email and marketing automation campaigns. Proficiency in technical SEO and SEMrush at high levels and capable of producing reports of activity and progress. Develop digital marketing plans and campaigns. Align, collaborate, and learn with marketing and PR partners to ensure strategies are scalable, relevant, and seamlessly driven. Drive a culture of open communication and partnership. Measure, listen, report, and apply business insights to advise on future directions and approaches. Own all brand social media channels (including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn). Lead the small-yet-mighty social and digital media team and its members, committing to performance and fostering an engaged, collaborative, results-driven, and learning-driven culture. Partner with the SVP of CMPE to serve as organization-wide authority for brand influencer and social media; share plans, findings, and standard processes for digital, activate all social channels as well as our employee base to drive social media performance. Partner with our creative team to build hyper-relevant, digital-first content to support our campaigns and programs. Find opportunities to further establish AH as the digital leader in our industry, then create activation plans to bring them to life. Drive real-time social media campaigns to engage in cultural and trend conversations. Develop, deliver, and institutionalize standards and toolkits. Build and enhance tools like a social media playbook and annual channel strategies to clearly define what we stand for and how we activate on AH-owned social media channels. Optimize existing processes to improve alignment, communication, and our speed-to-market. Protect the brand - hold self and all partners accountable for adhering to brand standards, guidelines, and rules of engagement. Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Bachelors in business, communications, marketing, or related field. 8+ years of social media marketing experience or equivalent. Strong leadership skills, ability to lead a team and drive alignment across functions. Highly collaborative, can connect with marketing and PR peers to drive creativity and execution of ideas. In-depth knowledge of key and emerging social media platforms with a solid understanding of global platforms and standards. Ability to convert data, listening reports, and findings into clear and impactful strategies. Excellent teammate; knows how to build strong relationships across marketing and PR functions and with various collaborators across the organization. Can prioritize multiple projects and maintains a sense of calm in a storm. Position requires off-hours support as needed to the real-time nature of social media.

Working Conditions: Works in an office environment. May require frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and prolonged sitting and/or standing. May require regular lifting usually not exceeding 20 lbs. Some travel may be required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
