Position Overview:

Beam is looking for a highly motivated, strategic, and collaborative leader to join our growing Commercial team. Reporting to the VP, Product Portfolio Strategy, Director will optimize patient delivery of BEAM-101 to Treatment Centers (TCs) with expertise in Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) and cell therapies. In collaboration with Quality, Supply Chain / Tech Ops, will ensure turnaround time, consistency in drug product delivery, and status update communications among other responsibilities. The Director, Marketing and Commercial Network Operations, will collaborate cross-functionally to define the strategy for Treatment Center (TC) onboarding and work with cross-functional partners in establishing the capabilities and procedures needed to contract and activate these centers.

This is an internal and external-facing role that requires close coordination with internal and external cross functional stakeholders to achieve successful results. Will be accountable for generating insights regarding which patient delivery metrics are most relevant for a positive patient and provider treatment experience. work with the cross-functional team to set targets for patient delivery metrics and drive progress toward achievement of these goals. In preparation for commercialization this role will evolve and drive TC onboarding progress and be responsible for internal prioritization and coordination across the cross functional Beam Team to achieve TC onboarding goals. This internal Beam single point of contact for the field facing team will streamline communication with the cross functional Beam team to meet the needs of the external facing teams to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities: Engage with potential treatment centers to map their processes, understand how to integrate BEAM-101 Engage with providers to prioritize which product delivery metrics are most meaningful with regards to provider experience. Works with cross-functional Beam team (e.g., Technical Operations, Quality) to set targets for operational product delivery metrics and to drive product and process optimization to execute toward commercial targets. Develops metrics and dashboards to track and communicate progress. Define strategy for Treatment Center (TC) network onboarding, defining the contracting, activation, training, and auditing elements of TC onboarding.

Initially focus on building the internal infrastructure needed to support the TC onboarding strategy and execution with a large focus on development, coordination of review and approval of Processes and Materials needed for Treatment Center onboarding.

Generate insights and engage with providers at TCs to identify best practices and determine solutions that meet both customer and Beam's business needs. Works closely with Legal, Quality, IT, Patient Operations and Supply Chain to define procedures, system requirements required for TC onboarding Develops materials needed and coordinates approval of said materials to support BEAM-101 onboarding Define organizational needs to support TC onboarding and auditing. Devise plan and metrics for training and tracking of field team's onboarding activities. Responsible for socializing key learnings with the internal Beam team, identifying potential roadblocks and developing plans to mitigate. Qualifications:

BS/BA in a relevant academic field; MBA, MD, PhD, or other graduate degree strongly preferred Minimum 10 years business experience within the pharma/biotech/biopharma space Experience in gene and/or cell therapy strongly desired, particularly in autologous cell therapy. Sophisticated understanding of the operational complexity and evolving scientific, clinical, regulatory, competitive, and economic trends in the cell / gene therapy industry, and able to adapt operational strategies accordingly. Proven track record in cross-functional leadership role or other cross-disciplinary background with successful team leadership experience required. Experience working with manufacturing or supply chain functions highly preferred. Exceptional interpersonal skills and collaborative nature with strong ability to influence, motivate, inspire, encourage and develop others. Driven by patient needs and comfortable operating in a highly complex and technical environment while dealing with ambiguity. Experience with U.S. commercialization preferred. Experience in both large and small company environments a plus. Ability to travel 20% as needed
