We're adding an Account Executive, Consumer Brands to our integrated marketing and public relations team. If you'd like to work with trendsetting experiences, consumer products, spirits, and more, we’d like to hear from you.

Who we're looking for:

The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience, knowledge of - and experience with - pitching consumer products to media and working with influencers to secure dynamic paid and organic campaigns.

Career Responsibilities:

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT:

  1. Play an important role in the day-to-day account function of teams.
  2. Be a brand champion for your clients and build strong relationships with them.

CREATIVITY DRIVES US:

  1. Mandatory in-person, in-office requirement two days; self-motivated to work independently from home.
  2. Participate in brainstorming sessions for programming and publicity beyond the role of the press office.
  3. Conduct research on trends, innovative brands, products, and the industry to support the development of creative programming, client plans, and new business proposals.

EARNED MEDIA AND INFLUENCER ENGAGEMENT:

  1. Build and sustain relationships with key media outlets (business, retail, food trade, consumer, culinary, lifestyle, entertainment).
  2. Proactively pitch and generate earned media placement in appropriate titles.
  3. Secure top-tier national and regional earned media placements for C-suite and consumer products across digital, print, and broadcast media.
  4. Prepare reports on the performance of media programs, providing insights, recommendations, and key learnings.
  5. Support team in development of media prep documents such as briefing sheets, run of show, messaging documents, prepare & host briefings with key stakeholders.
  6. Attend/staff shoots and/or interviews with select journalists/influencers & clients.
  7. Lead areas of client calls and execute on deliverables set forth in communications.
  8. Maintain written assets across accounts including but not limited to media lists, press releases, Q&A documents.
  9. Base knowledge of influencer marketing and how social integrates with an earned campaign.
  10. Stay on top of trends with knowledge of all major social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Snap, etc.

EVENTS/ACTIVATIONS:

  1. Ability and interest to help concept and build a consumer-facing activation or event.
  2. Assist with staffing of on-site needs at events.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Minimum 3-4 years of recent experience in PR, marketing communications, or a related role.
  2. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  3. Some experience with earned and paid media planning and execution, across digital channels.
  4. Base knowledge of purpose or Executive thought leadership campaigns.
  5. Proficiency in Google Suite, including ability to prepare deck presentations and visual recap reports, as well as knowledge of working with Muck Rack and Critical Mention.
  6. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
  7. Experience leading product launches, including writing press releases and devising the proper pitches and corresponding media cadence.
  8. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft key messages for various channels.
  9. Interest in social media and proactive industry trendspotting.
  10. Understanding of influencer marketing and how social integrates with an earned campaign.
  11. Dynamic problem solver with the ability to turn challenges into new areas of opportunity.
