The Role:
We’re looking for a highly motivated Sales Manager with branding or agency sales experience to generate and close deals. You’ll be responsible for both outbound prospecting and closing inbound leads, selling branding projects in the $50K-$70K range. This is a 1099 contractor role with a mix of base pay and commission.
The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized individual who has a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential clients through networking, outreach, and inbound lead management.
- Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers at businesses looking for high-quality branding services.
- Develop sales strategies and funnels to increase deal flow and maintain a healthy pipeline.
- Conduct sales calls, present proposals, and negotiate contracts to close deals.
- Track and report on sales activity and performance metrics.
- Travel as needed for client meetings, events, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business
- 3+ years' of sales experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $45,000 annually.
- Commission: 10% per closed deal.
- $50K-$70K project size = $5K-$7K per deal in commission.
- Total Potential Earnings: Closing just 1 deal per month = $60-$84K annually in commission + $45K base = $105K-$129K total. Strong closers could earn $150-$200K+ annually.
