We're looking for a dynamic, results-oriented business development intern to join our team at CastmeNow. You’ll drive direct outreach in the entertainment industry by executing targeted B2B sales strategies—connecting with acting studios, industry professionals, and actors. Our founders bring a decade+ of experience from top consumer companies like Spotify and Apple and work directly with artists and institutes in LA and NYC. This is an incredible opportunity for someone early in their career to build a strong network within the entertainment industry, hone their pitching skills, and earn a handsome upside on closed deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute targeted outreach at acting studios, events, and industry gatherings.
- Build and maintain relationships with studio staff, actors, and other professionals.
- Drive B2B sales strategies with a focus on closing deals—leveraging new-age growth and outreach tools to supercharge prospecting efforts.
- We work mostly remotely, but we meet in-person at our Manhattan WeWork two days a week; when you're out on the field meeting acting studios and attending industry events, meals and transport expenses are covered.
Qualifications:
- Ideally, a current student at a film institute or related field with a strong understanding of the industry.
- Dynamic, self-directed, and driven to succeed in sales and a startup environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results.
- Previous experience in sales or business development is a plus.
- Comfortable with in-person meetings and prospecting in the New York Metropolitan Area.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Fixed stipend plus commission and revenue sharing, with potential earnings up to $5,000 per deal.
