Key Responsibilities:

  1. Write, publish, and maintain developer documentation.
  2. Make small edits to existing content and create entirely new websites.
  3. Handle multiple projects and create comprehensive guides for developers.
  4. Create high-quality instructional documentation for developers.
  5. Collaborate closely with subject matter experts, project managers, developers, testers, and business analysts to produce the required technical documentation.
  6. Use a suite of internal tools to draft, develop, and publish content.
  7. Communicate technical concepts in simple, easy-to-understand language for technical and non-technical audiences.

Skills:

  1. Strong writing and editing ability.
  2. Familiarity with programming best practices.
  3. Experience writing instructional content (e.g. user manuals or guides, support content/instructions).
  4. Experience working with a content management system.
  5. Knowledge in Google Docs and related products.
  6. Understanding of access control lists and dynamic code.
  7. Ability to write according to our internal style guide.
  8. Strong research and analytical skills.

This position is part of a bargaining unit.
