$25.80 - $38.70 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. Join Our Team as a Polysomnographic Technologist! As part of our dedicated healthcare team, you will provide exceptional care for patients undergoing sleep studies and treatment for sleep disorders. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare for patient arrivals by setting up and readying equipment for sleep studies. Conduct thorough interviews to assess patient sleep disorders and explain testing procedures. Perform sleep tests and additional assessments as required. Score and interpret sleep study results and provide education regarding findings, sleep disorders, and community resources. Maintain and calibrate testing equipment, reporting necessary repairs and replacements. Utilize critical thinking and judgment in a fast-paced setting, working effectively with minimal supervision. Requirements: Minimum Required Education: High school diploma or GED. Required Licensure/Certification: Registered as a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) or equivalent, or Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). State licensure if required by law. Minimum Experience: None required. BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuer before start date.
