The VP is responsible for developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies aligned with Presbyterian Living's strategic direction, Life Plan Communities, and leadership. Serving as an ambassador, the VP builds outreach strategies for prospective residents, healthcare partners, employees, public officials, media, and the community to increase awareness and support for the organization and its mission.
Essential Functions:
- Develops and implements marketing and sales strategy and vision aligned with Presbyterian Living's goals
- Develops an integrated strategic marketing/communications plan to generate a sufficient volume of qualified prospect leads for the communities to meet or exceed their annual sales and move-in goals.
- Works to develop and implement sales strategies that will increase the effectiveness of the sales teams and ultimately drive higher sales conversion rates.
- Ensures brand standards are met in every communication.
- Initiates and supports creation of strategies that cultivate and enhance meaningful relationships with targeted audiences, including the media and key influencers.
- Identifies challenges and emerging issues faced by the organization. Collaborates with leadership and staff to recognize internal and external communications opportunities and solutions and defines and executes appropriate strategies to support them.
- Serves as communications and change management advisor to Presbyterian Living leadership.
- Oversees and provides strategies for innovative traditional and digital marketing campaigns to position the organization as a market leader:
- Initiates and monitors the development of all print communications, including traditional and digital marketing materials and the organization's website.
- Collaborates and supports the development of the organization's annual report(s)
- Initiates the development of multi-channel marketing campaigns that maximize exposure to and performance of Presbyterian Living' Life Plan Communities
- Ensures a robust web presence that optimizes lead generation for the communities and positions the organization as a trusted source of knowledge for various target audiences.
- Drives a comprehensive, proactive communications program to support Presbyterian Living' mission, vision, and values.
- In conjunction with COO and CEO, serves as a spokesperson and lead point person on public relations and media interactions that promote and/or impact the organization
- Exercises judgment to prioritize media opportunities and prepare talking points, speeches, presentations, and other supporting material as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years' experience of increasingly responsible management positions within marketing and sales.
- Minimum of 5 years' recent experience as an executive level marketing, sales and communications leader
- Extensive experience leading multifaceted teams of professionals
- Extensive experience in strategic planning, execution and change management
- Experience in examining and evaluating processes, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures
- Experience and knowledge of computerized information systems such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and marketing automation platforms
