Description
Are you a software engineer who thrives on bringing creative visions to life? Do you enjoy the challenge of balancing elegant solutions with practical implementations? We're looking for a Senior level programmer to join our Creative Technology team, where you'll craft the software that powers our innovative interactive experiences. As a member of the Creative Technology software team, you'll be translating ambitious creative concepts into working software solutions. One day you might be architecting a complex interactive installation or testing out a new library or piece of tech, the next day you could be troubleshooting on-site at a live event. You'll lead projects from initial concept through to successful delivery, working closely with creative & production teams, technologists, clients & vendors.
What You’ll Do
In the Studio Lead the technical design and implementation of creative projects, working closely on cross-functional teams and delegating tasks to other programmers to transform concepts into reality Architect and develop software solutions across various technology stacks, always with an eye toward the right balance of code elegance and practical delivery Mentor junior programmers, sharing your knowledge and helping them grow their skills Contribute to our team's technical standards and best practices, while staying current with emerging technologies Create and maintain clear documentation and site-plans, ensuring your solutions can be understood and supported by the wider team
On Site Lead the technical implementation of installations, managing both the software and the on-site programming team Think on your feet to solve unexpected challenges under pressure Coordinate with other department leads to ensure smooth integration of all project elements Stay cool under pressure when facing last-minute changes or technical challenges Monitor system performance and quickly address any issues that arise

Requirements
3+ years of experience in related field Expertise in Python TouchDesigner experience not required but highly desirable Gen AI experience not required but highly desirable Audio/Visual Integration knowledge not required but highly desirable
Position Details
Full Time Salary Exempt Salary range from $110,000.00 to $156,000.00 annually Located in Los Angeles, CA Work is hybrid, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm In Office days - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
