Job Summary
We are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist with expertise in Google Ads and Email Marketing to join our team! The ideal candidate should have 2-5 years of experience managing digital marketing campaigns for service-based businesses such as pest control, lawn care, and home services. This role requires strong skills in Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, LSA), Meta Ads for Lead Generation, SEO strategies, and crafting simple but effective email marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Expert Google Ads & Meta Ads Campaign Management:
Manage and optimize Google Ads Search, Performance Max campaigns, and LSA to generate high-quality leads for service-based businesses.
Launch, monitor, and refine Meta Ads campaigns to drive conversions and improve lead quality across Facebook and Instagram.
Continuously test ad copy, bidding strategies, and audience targeting to maximize ROAS and lower CPL.
Troubleshoot performance fluctuations and implement proactive strategies to maintain consistent results.
Data-Driven Decision Making with GA4 & Google Tag Manager:
Deploy and manage Google Tag Manager to ensure accurate tracking of conversions, user interactions, and ad performance.
Analyze Google Analytics 4 data to assess campaign effectiveness, identify optimization opportunities, and make data-backed marketing decisions.
Track user behavior and attribution paths to refine audience segmentation and retargeting strategies.
Provide regular performance reports and actionable insights to improve campaign efficiency.
Local SEO Strategy & Optimization:
Optimize on-page SEO elements, metadata, and content strategy to improve organic rankings for local service-based businesses.
Conduct technical SEO audits to enhance website speed, user experience, and mobile friendliness.
Perform in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to refine SEO strategies.
Monitor Google Search Console and SEO analytics tools to track rankings and identify areas for improvement.
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Optimization:
Measure and report on PPC, Meta Ads, and SEO performance, using data insights to adjust strategies.
Continuously analyze CPL, ROAS and KPIs to optimize ad spend.
Stay up to date with Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, and digital marketing trends, implementing best practices to improve campaign performance.
Requirements and Education:
2-5 years of marketing experience, with a focus on local small businesses.
Proficiency in website analysis tools like Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.
Strong knowledge of on-page optimization, technical SEO, keyword research, link building, and content strategy.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to give and receive team feedback.
Excellent copywriting and editing skills.
Proficiency with major digital marketing channels and social media tools (Google Ads, Meta Ads, iContact, SocialPilot, HubSpot, etc.).
Experience with photo and video editing tools like Canva and Adobe.
Strong knowledge of WordPress/Elementor.
Experience managing and optimizing business listings on platforms like Google Business Profile and Apple Maps Business Connect.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Understanding HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO best practices.
Agency experience, including creating custom PPC and SEO reports and client presentations, is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or business. Sales and customer service experience preferred.
