Marysville WA 98271 Pay Range: $37 - $44/hr on W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.) Job Title: Expeditor Location: Marysville WA 98271/ Bothell, WA Duration: 12-month Contract Summary The Expeditor is responsible for expediting assigned purchase orders to ensure all requirements specified in the purchase order are accomplished including document delivery, efficient coordination, inspections, and on-time delivery. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Expediting new, missing, or returned documents/drawings from vendors, contractors, and Engineering. Participating in project meetings to provide updates and status of document submittals. Ensuring submittals are received for Engineer review and returned to vendors/contractors per the schedule. Identifying and escalating ongoing supplier/contractor documentation issues to the Procurement and Program Teams. Emphasizing a proactive, systematic, and standardized approach to detect and avert delays to the contractual delivery dates stated within the contract. Providing detailed updates to all stakeholders on the status of supplier/contractor document submittals Providing effective document expediting support and coordination for the Procurement and Program Teams. Ensuring accuracy of own work. Serving as a focal point for the communication, maintenance, and update of supplier delivery commitments noted in the contract/purchase order as negotiated by the Buyer. Providing timely information and support to suppliers, contractors, and the Procurement and Program Teams. Reviewing inspection reports for potential problems and further actions. Analyzing and evaluating the supplier/contractor document and data submittal plans. Identifying disruptions in the supplier/contractor submission and delivery schedules. Verifying the supplier/contractor reported progress and ability to meet its delivery obligations. Through regular communication with assigned suppliers ensure the latest delivery information is kept up to date and relayed to the Procurement and Program Teams and updated in the project schedule. Developing and implementing future material management and control plans and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Summary of Education, Experience & Certification Minimum two years experience required. Bachelors Degree required. Experience working within a QMS system of ISO 9001 and API Q1 an asset. Experience with ERP system required. Aerospace experience preferred. . Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Must be proficient with Microsoft Office & ERP Systems, especially proficient in the use of Excel. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Must be capable of managing multiple priorities and projects at the same time. Ability to drive issues to closure and get job done in professional and compliant manner. Must have a strong attention to detail and strong time management skills. Excellent communication skills with all stakeholders, including but not limited to warehouse, logistics, planning, engineering, order management, and purchasing teams. Ability to meet or exceed standards as established by the department.
