Platoon is seeking a Music Initiatives & Partnerships Manager to help drive the next wave of growth, partnerships, and experiences for Platoon - within and beyond the Apple ecosystem. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of music, technology, and business strategy— a creative and strategic thinker who can turn ideas into meaningful projects.
Description
Lead and execute high-impact strategic initiatives that fuel innovation, business growth, and operational excellence for Platoon. Drive cross-functional projects from concept to completion, ensuring seamless execution and measurable results. Identify and develop synergies between teams, partners, and content strategies to maximize efficiency and value creation. Analyze music industry trends, listener behavior, and digital consumption patterns to uncover new opportunities. Oversee music catalog management, ensuring efficient acquisition, organization, and optimization of rights and assets. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to optimize music rights, licensing, and content placement strategies. Develop structured frameworks and workflows that improve decision-making, execution, and scalability across projects. Measure performance and impact using data-driven insights to refine strategies and optimize outcomes. Drive operational excellence, ensuring clarity, alignment, and efficiency in everything we do.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8 years + project management experience in the music business
- Deep and proven experience in the music industry; including music rights, licensing, and partnerships.
- 5 years + experience executing high-impact strategic initiatives that fuel innovation, business growth, and operational excellence
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects with structure, agility, and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills with a passion for data-driven decision-making and trend forecasting.
- Ability to execute tasks based on strategic direction and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Interest in music and content strategy, with a willingness to explore innovative ideas.
- 15% + travel required, both domestic and international.
