We are looking for a Visual Manager, Beyond Yoga who can bring both creativity and a business-focused mindset to the retail team. This role will lead the overall creation of creative direction, strategy, and implementation/execution of visual merchandising across headquarters and all retail locations. This person is responsible for understanding a being ahead of trends, enhancing the customer experience through innovative and cohesive in-store presentation, collaborating on the customer omni journey, and creating detailed seasonal storytelling that really fuses style, trend, color, activewear and lifestyle products together. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, store operations, merchandising, design, and ecommerce to align visual merchandising with the brand identity, product initiatives, and business objectives. You must be capable of creating an environment that is engaging and inspiring for both employees and customers alike. Through collaboration, you will lead in-store visual retail strategies, including windows, driving top line sales goals through the creation of compelling displays, directives, and outfit styling in all retail locations.

About the Job:

Strategic Leadership

  • Create, develop and implement visual merchandising strategies for all retail locations ensuring consistency with the brand vision and customer experience goals.
  • Collaborate closely with product merchandising, marketing, and store operations to ensure visual direction, displays, and updates align with product launches, cross channel business, promotions, and seasonal events.
  • Strategic awareness of each season’s go-to-market calendar, to truly immerse yourself and the retail pod in the big ideas. Then using this awareness to collaborate specifically with the marketing team to pre-plan floorsets and plan photo shoots to align with retail store needs.
  • Drive innovation in visual presentation by staying ahead of industry trends, learning and applying from our competitors and pushing ourselves to evolve and integrating new technologies, ensuring competitive differentiation.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a team of District Managers, Store Managers and Store teams to have a strong visual merchandising skillset and make strong merchandising decisions.
  • Provide clear creative direction, performance goals, and ongoing feedback, ensuring the team has the tools and resources to execute high-quality presentations.
  • Ensure store staff are equipped with visual merchandising knowledge to create consistency across all doors in building brand loyalty, inspiring our customers, and creating community through culture.

Execution & Oversight:

  • Manage seasonal direction, visual execution guidelines, photo sharing and providing feedback to store teams on store visual rollouts.
  • Create monthly visual floor and window direction for retail stores to follow based on new monthly fashion drops, big ideas, and current trends.
  • Oversee the planning, design, and execution of in-store and window displays, store layouts, and digital merchandising efforts.
  • Ensure all locations reflect the visual standards through regular visits, training, and communication with the teams.
  • Partner with store operations to optimize product placement, space planning, and customer flow.
  • Provide feedback to update store signage to reflect new product launches, and seasonal campaigns.

Performance-Driven Decision Making:

  • Utilize analytics and customer insights to drive visual merchandising decisions that optimize sales, customer engagement, and store traffic.
  • Track performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of visual merchandising strategies, adjusting approaches as needed.
  • Increase and enhance financial indicators; conversion, store traffic, product sell-through and revenue through business analysis and visual execution.

Budget & Resource Management:

  • Develop and manage the visual merchandising budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently across all locations.
  • Manage vendor relationships for display materials, fixtures, and creative assets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality standards.
  • Responsible for visual execution in all new store openings and refit projects working with the Store Operations, Marketing, and Merchandising to accomplish timelines.
  • Manage budget; This includes window displays, visual imagery, signage updates, furniture, and fixtures.
  • You will report into our Head of Retail.

About You:

  • 4+ years of experience in the retail apparel industry
  • Project management experience
  • A track record in increasing sales volume growth through product placement in a retail environment
  • Positive, helpful demeanor and a passion and interest in Beyond Yoga
  • Previous experience with Word, Excel (can perform complex functions), and PowerPoint
  • Travel required
