About Us: At CIC, we operate at the intersection of technology and creativity. Our main offices are in Northbrook, IL, and Alpharetta, GA. As a team of 135 dedicated professionals, we work collaboratively to provide highly customized and connected technical solutions. Our expertise lies in integrating front-end web stores with suppliers, clients, and our own SAP back-office systems.

Job Summary: The Web Developer will be responsible for developing new features and maintaining existing functionality for our proprietary applications. They will work closely with Account Managers and Web Designers to implement corporate site projects and provide web-related support to other internal organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with Account Managers and Web Designers to implement corporate site projects.
  2. Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and other process assessments.
  3. Develop and maintain features for the company's proprietary applications.
  4. Provide development support for web-related issues to other internal organizations.
  5. Define business and technological requirements associated with client objectives.
  6. Recommend policy/procedure changes to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
  7. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. 5-10 years of web development experience.
  2. C#, CSS, HTML, ASP.NET, MS SQL Server, Microsoft WCF, Sencha touch for mobile.
  3. Experience with at least one high-level language (e.g., VB or VB.NET).
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.
  5. Ability to design, program, and test complex web-based applications in an N-tiered architecture using object-oriented methods.
