ChristWay Church is hiring: Lead Videographer/ Tech Assistant in Ooltewah

Job Summary:

ChristWay Church is seeking a creative and technically skilled Videographer & Tech Assistant to join our production team. This role will be responsible for filming & Editing production needs for various ministries and assisting the Production Director with projects across the church’s video production departments. The primary focus initially will be on weekly video projects with additional responsibilities in church-wide special Video projects. The position is listed at Part-Time, but could lead into a Full-Time position in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Video Production:

• Lead in filming video projects for various ministries, including assisting in content creation for Sunday morning services (Sermon series bumpers, weekly video segments ect…), special events Video projects, and some promotional materials.

• Collaborate with ministry leaders to ensure video content aligns with the church's vision and messaging.

• Help manage the Video Production Studio, including maintaining equipment and ensuring high-quality production standards.

1. Support for Production Director:

   • Assist the Production Director with technical needs and projects across other ministries, including the Main Worship Center.

   • Sometimes helping with tech integration projects, system upgrades, and the organization of current production tech resources.

   • Provide support during special events, conferences, and other large-scale church productions.

1. Tech Maintenance & Upgrades:

   • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment as needed.

   • Stay current on the latest production technology trends and recommend upgrades to improve the church’s technical capabilities.

   • Assist in organizing and optimizing the tech inventory for efficient use in various ministry areas.

1. Collaboration & Leadership:

   • Collaborate with worship leaders, ministry teams, and volunteers to execute high-quality productions.

Qualifications:

• Experience in video production, including filming, editing, and post-production.

• Knowledge of live sound, studio lighting systems and studio design.

• Ability to lead and work well within a team environment.

• Familiarity with production software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Slack & Google Workspace.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Pay:

• Pay: $15 - $20 an Hour, depending on experience. (Typically 20-30 Hours a week or more depending on experience and needs with the possibility of turning into a full-time position)
