Key Responsibilities

  • Create detailed AV system drawings, schematics, and design documentation using industry-standard software.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and installation teams to ensure accurate and practical designs.

  • Translate client requirements into functional AV system designs, adhering to industry standards and best practices.

  • Provide technical input during project planning and implementation phases.

  • Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and safety requirements.

  • Participate in design review meetings and adjust plans as necessary based on feedback.

  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to support accurate design development.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging AV technologies and design techniques.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as an AV Design Engineer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of design projects.

  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) for AV system schematics and layouts.

  • Strong technical background with a comprehensive understanding of AV systems, components, and integration.

  • Familiarity with industry standards such as AVIXA guidelines and relevant codes.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CTS, CTS-D) are highly desirable.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
