Software Resources has an immediate, contract job opportunity for a Project Manager with a major corporation in Kissimmee, FL.
Remote for now, but on-site Monday - Thursday, Remote on Fridays in the future.
Looking for previous project management experience within an agency, creative environment.
-Project managing and creating packaging
-Retail or product development experience is helpful but not required.
-This is a high volume environment supporting over 150 projects at a time.
-Work closely with creative team and product team
Technologies: Project management software always a plus, currently using Adobe Workfront (not a necessity but helpful). Microsoft office skills
Description:
The Project Manager, Packaging Operations will oversee the end-to-end process of creative packaging development, with a focus on structural packaging and creative design. This role requires close collaboration with Creative Design, Sourcing, Merchandising, Product Design, and other teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and aligned with business objectives.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities while ensuring the timely delivery of packaging solutions that support the Global Product Creation team.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
o Establish project timelines and ensure alignment with development calendars, meeting key milestones for packaging and artwork projects.
o Maintain project tracking systems to monitor progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
o Actively participate in weekly team status meetings, ensuring clear communication of deadlines and project status.
o Collaborate with sourcing partners to manage and understand packaging deadlines.
o Meet with the Creative team to manage deadlines and ensure timely artwork execution.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on project requirements, timelines, and expectations.
o Route projects for necessary approvals in a timely manner to ensure no bottlenecks
in the process.
o Address project delays or issues by escalating to the appropriate teams.
o Learn and understand existing processes for creative design and packaging workflows and look for ways to refine or enhance efficiency.
o Identify opportunities to streamline workflows by leveraging technology and automation where appropriate.
o Maintain organized, up-to-date project dashboards for real-time visibility.
Basic Qualifications:
o 3+ years of project management experience or related work experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
o Experience in packaging operations or creative project management is a plus.
o Retail experience is preferred but not required.
Skills:
o Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
o Experience with project management tools and systems (e.g., Smartsheet, Workfront, or similar).
o Proficiency in PC/Mac office software, including Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Required Education:
Bachelors, or equivalent work experience
