Title: CAD Technician

Location: Columbus, OH, 43215

• Shift: 1st - Onsite,
• Flexibility : 30 days of flex work throughout the year to work from home
• Schedule : 80 hours in 9 days with the 10th day off. Available after proven

Job Summary:

Responsible for preparing orders, obtaining right of way, managing public project relocations, and implementing system improvements. Collaborate to determine customer needs, design facilities, and manage billing.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and revise engineering drawings.
• Adhere to drafting standards and ANSI practices.
• Assist in drafting, design, and documentation.
• Utilize drafting and design software.
• Handle ad hoc projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience working with CAD
• Education: Associate's degree preferred; high school diploma with experience acceptable.
• Bachelor's degree in business or engineering technology is helpful but not necessary.
• Fundamentals of Engineering certification is considered overqualified.

Nice to Haves:

1. DDS (Distribution Design Software).
2. Maximo reporting software.
3. Oracle design.
4. Distribution operation tool set.
