About the Role

As a CAD Technician , you will play a crucial role in translating design concepts into precise CAD drawings that drive production and installation. The ideal candidate has experience in cabinetry construction, millwork assembly , and proficiency with industry-specific CAD software such as Cabinet Vision or comparable programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed CAD drawings for production and installation.
  • Produce assembly sheets and documentation, addressing production team inquiries.
  • Prepare and process orders for custom doors, moldings, and carvings.
  • Maintain job records using ERP systems (e.g., Innergy, Paycor, Cabinet Vision ).

What You Bring

  • Experience: 2–4 years of CAD drafting/design experience in cabinetry, millwork, or related fields .
  • Technical Skills : Demonstrable experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Solid Works, Revit, or Microvellum). Proficiency in Cabinet Vision is highly desirable.
  • Industry Knowledge: Aptitude and desire to learn cabinetry/millwork construction methods and material specifications.
  • Computer Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative mindset.
