Position Overview
As a Sports-Minded Marketing Representative, you will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities, executing marketing strategies, and supporting sales initiatives. You will work directly with senior team members to develop and implement campaigns that boost brand visibility and generate leads. Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
Conduct market research to identify potential leads, industry trends, and business opportunities.
Assist in prospecting and lead generation efforts through networking, outreach initiatives, and digital campaigns.
Support sales outreach activities, including cold calling, email marketing, and follow-up communications.
Maintain accurate records of prospects and client interactions in CRM software.
Coordinate and attend meetings with potential clients to develop and foster relationships.
Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and contracts to support business development efforts.
Marketing Campaign Coordination & Execution:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement multi-channel campaigns to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition.
Assist with the creation of engaging content for digital platforms, social media, email campaigns, and advertisements.
Conduct competitor analysis and market research to refine marketing strategies.
Track and report on marketing campaign performance, analyzing key metrics and optimizing strategies accordingly.
Support event planning, sponsorships, and trade shows to promote the company and generate leads.
Client Engagement & Relationship Building:
Build strong relationships with clients by maintaining consistent communication and providing exceptional support.
Attend client meetings and assist in presenting marketing proposals and sales pitches.
Develop client-facing materials, including presentations, reports, and case studies.
Administrative & Reporting Support:
Provide administrative assistance to the sales and marketing teams, including scheduling meetings, tracking deliverables, and ensuring deadlines are met.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports summarizing key metrics, campaign performance, and sales activities.
Assist in the day-to-day execution of sales and marketing projects, ensuring seamless operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
1–3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a team.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Creative problem-solving skills and a willingness to take on new challenges.
Familiarity with CRM software and digital marketing tools is a plus.
