Marketing Specialist - Construction Industry

Location: Portland, OR

Salary: $55,000 - $70,000

A leading construction firm in Portland is seeking a Marketing Specialist to lead proposal development and support strategic marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in AEC marketing and a strong command of proposal software and content management tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and produce RFQs, RFPs, and bid proposals, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and executives to refine proposal content.
  • Manage and maintain marketing collateral, project descriptions, and team resumes for submissions.
  • Utilize InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite to design proposal layouts and marketing materials.
  • Maintain and update content in Deltek Vision, OpenAsset, or Unanet CRM for proposal tracking.
  • Assist in digital marketing efforts, including website updates and social media content.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of marketing experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and CRM platforms like Deltek Vision, Unanet, or HubSpot.
  • Experience in proposal writing, layout design, and deadline-driven document production.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with keen attention to detail.
