Our challenge

We are seeking an experienced UX/Design Thinking Architect to join our team. This role will focus on facilitating ideation sessions, conducting design thinking workshops, and guiding the initial discovery process to create user-centered solutions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about enhancing user experiences and leveraging design thinking methodologies to drive innovation.

Additional Information

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Dallas, TX / Pittsburgh, PA is $110k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities: Facilitate Ideation Sessions: Lead collaborative brainstorming sessions with cross-functional teams to generate innovative ideas and solutions. Conduct Design Thinking Workshops: Organize and facilitate design thinking workshops to explore user needs, define problems, and prototype solutions. Guide Initial Discovery Process: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, user needs, and market trends, ensuring alignment throughout the design process. User Research: Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to gather insights into user behavior and preferences. Create User Personas and Journey Maps: Develop detailed user personas and journey maps to visualize user experiences and identify pain points. Prototype Development: Work with designers and developers to create low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts. Iterative Testing and Feedback: Implement user testing sessions to gather feedback and iterate on designs based on user insights. Documentation and Communication: Document design processes, decisions, and outcomes, and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders. Requirements:

You are:

Proven experience (10+ years) in UX design, design thinking, or a related role Strong understanding of design thinking principles and methodologies. Experience in facilitating workshops and collaborative sessions with diverse groups. Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to non-design stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with user research methods and usability testing. Desired Skill:

Experience in Agile environments. Knowledge of front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a plus. Certification in UX design or design thinking methodologies. We can offer you:
