The Azure Product Marketing organization is responsible for Azure’s global go-to-market approach including defining the customer value proposition working in partnership with the Azure engineering team, determining the global marketing mix and investments to maximize product growth, developing memorable storytelling and impactful customer-engagement moments, and defining the channel and sales priorities aligned with our product strategy.
The successful candidate will lead product marketing for a significant portion of the Azure Storage portfolio part of Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). Azure IaaS is one of the largest segments of the Azure business, and provides a dynamic, flexible, and empowered work environment. The Product Marketing Manager, Azure Storage will work closely with engineering, marketing, and sales stakeholders to bring innovative cloud-based storage solutions to market. As a Product Marketing Manager, Azure Storage you will analyze customer and market signals, craft compelling messaging and positioning frameworks, and help develop effective strategies for customer acquisition and retention in collaboration with others.

Responsibilities
Deliver thoroughly researched messaging and positioning frameworks with a broad set of proof points and crisp overall storytelling
Build a marketing bill of materials (BOM) to support sales enablement and demand generation activities
Help create customer/partner facing demo plans, product scripts, presentations, and sales materials to support new product launches
Recommend go-to-market plans, including investments and incentive strategies to achieve customer and partner success, resulting in revenue and market share growth
Collect, analyze, and report on key performance metrics to derive deep insights that change or improve plans, tactics, and outcomes
Orchestrate Azure Storage presence at various customer and partner events

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications (RQs/MQs)
Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in bringing technical products to market.
OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 2+ years experience in bringing technical products to market.
OR equivalent experience.
Experience marketing compute storage or networking or compute product and/or services.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs)
Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business
OR related field AND 3+ years experience in bringing technical products to market.
OR Bachelor's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business
OR related field AND 5+ years experience in bringing technical products to market.
OR equivalent experience.
Experience navigating complex scenarios and translating technical features into business benefits
Experience launching and positioning differentiated products
3+ years experience with on-premises or cloud storage solutions
Experience with next generation workloads such as Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) and large-scale databases.
2+ years experience working in the Infrastructure as a Service technologies (i.e., compute, storage, and networking) arena.
Product Marketing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $83,400 - $167,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $108,900 - $183,000 per year.
