Head of Marketing (On-Site) – Scale a Brand from Seven to Eight to Nine Digits+

What You’ll Do (and Own)

Own the Brand’s Growth & Long-Term Success

  • Develop and execute a marketing strategy that drives sustainable growth through multiple revenue milestones.
  • Lead and optimize DTC (Shopify & Amazon) , ensuring GuineaDad remains the go-to brand in small pet care.
  • Expand into B2B opportunities (wholesale & retail partnerships) to increase brand reach.
  • Build a high-retention, community-driven brand that customers stay with for life.

Lead & Scale Customer Acquisition & Retention

  • Oversee and scale performance marketing (Google, Meta, Amazon Ads) with a strong focus on efficiency and profitability.
  • Develop and execute a powerful content and organic growth strategy across social media, YouTube, and the blog.
  • Optimize email, SMS, and loyalty programs to maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Create an exceptional Shopify & Amazon buying experience that converts visitors into repeat buyers.

Be the Architect of a Powerful Brand Presence

  • Define and refine brand voice, messaging, and positioning to build long-term brand equity.
  • Lead and oversee Content & Community initiatives to drive engagement, trust, and authority in the small pet niche.
  • Build an organic influencer and UGC strategy that generates trust and brand loyalty.

Make Data-Driven, High-Impact Decisions

  • Establish and track KPIs (CAC, ROAS, LTV, AOV, CVR) to ensure every marketing dollar is maximized.
  • Lead A/B testing, CRO initiatives, and marketing experiments to improve efficiency and scale.
  • Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Klaviyo, Amazon Seller Central, and more) to guide decision-making.

Be a High-Level Leader, Not Just a Marketer

  • Build and lead a high-performance marketing team with clear goals and accountability.
  • Set a high bar for execution and impact —no fluff, just results.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Operations, and Finance to align marketing with overall business success.
  • Make long-term strategic decisions that position GuineaDad for dominance in its category.

What We’re Looking For (Skills & Experience)

  • Proven experience in scaling a consumer brand through multiple revenue milestones (seven to eight to nine digits+).
  • Deep expertise in performance marketing (Google, Meta, Amazon Ads) and retention (email, SMS, loyalty) .
  • Strong experience with Shopify, Amazon, Klaviyo, and analytics platforms .
  • Brand-building expertise —not just running ads, but creating a long-term, sustainable brand presence .
  • A high-performance leader —you’ve managed and scaled marketing teams before.
  • Experience in pet care, eCommerce, or subscription-based business models is a plus.
