Allensworth, a busy and growing commercial construction law firm, seeks a full-time Marketing Manager in its downtown Austin office.
Summary of Responsibilities
Working closely with firm leadership, the Marketing Manager is responsible for creating, implementing, and managing a variety of strategic marketing and PR programs to increase Allensworth's business and brand exposure. Internally, they will help develop and execute firm culture initiatives to strengthen the firm’s internal brand and promote our Core Values.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Orchestrate marketing campaigns to drive firm growth and visibility, including: launching and promoting new practice areas; disseminating timely legal updates and insights to clients and prospects; and enhancing the firm’s employer brand to attract top-tier talent.
- Manage firm’s website and social media content to increase firm’s brand awareness, including news page, articles, press releases, publications, and other announcements.
- Work with attorneys on awards submissions including Chambers, Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers, and other publications.
- Assist attorneys with requests for proposals for potential and existing clients, including background research, first draft, reviewer assignments, finalization, and submission.
- Work with attorneys to draft and update biographies and accomplishments on the firm website and LinkedIn.
- Research and implement opportunities to increase the firm’s visibility in the marketplace, including recognition in industry periodicals and editorials, community service events, sponsorship opportunities, and opportunities to participate at seminars and conferences.
- Assist lawyers in preparing for marketing and business development related presentations.
- Maintain a strong knowledge, presence, and leadership in the A/E/C industry and the legal marketing industry to identify and report on business trends and competitive landscape for legal services.
- Coordinate firm sponsorships, including advertising, promotional pieces, and gifts.
- Organize and implement client and firm events.
- Manage marketing and business development budgets.
- Lead weekly marketing meetings with partner(s) in charge of marketing and firm administrator.
- This position will report to the firm administrator and the partner(s) in charge of marketing.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- College degree required.
- Minimum of three years of experience in marketing or business development in a law firm or other professional services firm.
- Excellent writing, editing, communication, and research skills.
- Experience at writing marketing content for a wide variety of media.
- Proven ability to think creatively, using good judgment and decision-making capabilities.
- Knowledge of core business development and sales principles in professional services environment or similar, including client targeting and client relationship management.
- Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong analytical skills, including synthesizing and presenting research data to lawyers.
- Demonstrate adaptability in response to evolving company priorities.
- Ability to interact with people in a manner that comports with firm’s Core Values and shows tact and professionalism.
- Ability to undertake and manage large, long-term projects alongside quick-turnaround requests while effectively using firm resources.
- Strong technical skills. Experience in Microsoft Office Suite to include MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Canva.
- Experience managing social media accounts and tracking ROI.
