Job Title: Marketing Analytics Engagement Manager/Project Manager

Location: San Francisco (2-3 days/week in office)

Duration: Full-time/permanent

Domain: Banking/Financial (must-have)

Role and Responsibilities:

As the Marketing Analytics Engagement Manager/Project Manager, you will be instrumental in building new banking products and leading cross-functional efforts across Marketing, Product, Engineering, Risk and Finance to drive growth for said products. This role requires a deep understanding of the digital lending or banking space, a solid grasp of various business functions (Marketing, Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Finance), and a strong ability to develop and implement data-driven initiatives from start to finish. Your analytical prowess, problem-solving skills, product sense, and ability to work effectively cross-functionally will be key to your success.

Primary day-to-day client contacts and often interact with C-level executives.

  • Interacts regularly with clients to understand business requirements, define analytical problems, structure and communicate solutions and ensure client satisfaction with strong business driving results

Extremely comfortable working with data, including managing large number of data sources, analyzing data quality, and pro-actively working with client’s data/ IT teams to resolve issues

  • Develop Growth Strategies : Create new offerings or optimize existing product sets to drive growth through a data-driven and customer-centric approach
  • Lead End-to-End Execution : Manage the full lifecycle of strategic initiatives, including building business cases, securing stakeholder buy-ins, defining and documenting business requirements, and crafting go-to-market plans
  • Optimize Post-Launch : Analyze and optimize new strategies post-launch to ensure KPI metrics are met, and business benefits are realized
  • Stakeholder Collaboration : Collaborate with and drive alignment among various stakeholders across the organization
  • Manage Offshore Team : Lead and coordinate with offshore contractors for analytical support and to ensure seamless execution

Candidate Profile:

  • 6+ years of experience comprising analytics service delivery, consultin g, solution design and client management
  • Preferred experience in marketing analytics in banking industry in the following fields:
  • Experience developing/expanding GTM strategies for new banking products
  • Working across and a solid grasp of various business functions (Marketing, Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Finance)

Previous experience in the Financial/FinTech industry is a plus

  • Technical proficiency in tools like SQL, Python
  • Demonstrable leadership ability, superior problem solving and people management skills

Excellent communication, presentation and story building skills in a consulting setup

Master's degree in economics, mathematics, computer science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fields from the top tier academic institutions are also welcome to apply
