We’re in a major growth phase and looking for a senior business leader to work alongside Jacob Riglin and our leadership team to drive business development, strategy, and organizational expansion. Our goal is to become one of the leading creative agencies in the world, and we need the right person to help us get there.
We are hiring a Senior Business Development & Strategy Lead to drive new business growth, shape our agency strategy, and play a key role in building Jacob Media into an industry powerhouse.
This is a leadership role for someone with proven experience in business development within creative agencies and who is looking to be a core part of an ambitious, fast-moving company.
The role is based in New York but is not limited to the NYC market. This person will be responsible for securing brand partnerships and driving expansion across the U.S. and internationally.
We’re looking for someone with deep experience in business development at creative agencies, a strategic thinker with a proven track record of scaling an agency’s revenue and operations, and someone who thrives in a high-growth, startup-style agency environment. This person will work directly with Jacob Riglin to shape the future of Jacob Media.
This is not just a sales role. It is about strategy, leadership, and driving the agency’s growth from the inside out.
- Lead and drive all new business efforts to scale Jacob Media’s revenue and client base.
- Identify and secure high-value brand partnerships across luxury, travel, lifestyle, automotive, hospitality, and tech.
- Build and execute a strategic growth plan, positioning Jacob Media as a top-tier creative agency.
- Leverage your network of agency and brand contacts to drive inbound leads and opportunities.
- Proactively seek out RFPs, pitch opportunities, and strategic partnerships to win multi-campaign projects.
- Work closely with Jacob Riglin to refine the agency’s sales and business development approach.
- Play a key role in shaping Jacob Media’s long-term strategy and vision.
- Identify operational improvements, new revenue streams, and scalable agency models.
- Help build out the organizational structure, processes, and talent strategy to support rapid growth.
- Establish best practices for client acquisition, retention, and expansion.
- Represent Jacob Media at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Serve as the primary senior lead on high-profile client accounts, ensuring long-term relationships.
- Develop tailored creative solutions for brands, working closely with the production team.
- Maintain and grow long-term partnerships, ensuring repeat business and upselling opportunities.
- Keep a pulse on industry trends, emerging platforms, and creative innovations.
- Help position Jacob Media as a leader in social-first creative strategy.
- Identify ways to differentiate the agency from competitors and push the boundaries of content creation.
- At least five years of experience in business development or strategy at a creative agency.
- Proven ability to close high-value deals and scale agency revenue.
- Strong track record of winning RFPs, pitching, and securing multi-campaign contracts.
- Expertise in sales, negotiation, and building long-term brand relationships.
- Experience defining and executing an agency growth plan that goes beyond sales.
- A strong understanding of how to structure teams, processes, and operations for growth.
- Ability to identify and implement scalable revenue models for the agency.
- Well-connected in brand marketing, creative production, and advertising circles.
- Established relationships with CMOs, marketing executives, agencies, and decision-makers.
- Experience working with luxury, travel, lifestyle, tech, automotive, or hospitality brands is a plus.
