As a Junior Technical Writer, you will work closely with our development, product, and support teams to create, edit, and maintain technical documentation. Your work will help users and internal teams understand and effectively use our software solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong writing skills and a background in journalism who is looking to break into the Transportation Management System and Logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
Develop, write, and maintain user guides, online help documentation, release notes, and technical specifications.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and customer support teams to ensure documentation accuracy and clarity.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content.
Assist in maintaining and improving documentation processes and style guidelines.
Conduct research on industry trends and best practices to enhance the quality of technical documentation.
Support content updates for knowledge bases, FAQs, and training materials.
Qualifications:
Experience in journalism, technical writing, or content creation (preferably 1-3 years).
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to understand and document software applications and workflows.
Experience with documentation tools such as Confluence, Document360, Google Docs, or GIT platforms is a plus.
Exposure to API documentation such as Postman or Swagger is beneficial.
Familiarity with Agile development environments is a bonus.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or scripting languages is desirable.
