Total Wine & More is seeking a Senior Digital Content Planner to join our Digital team in our Bethesda, MD office. You will play a critical role in driving our eCommerce objectives by creating compelling content programs (e.g., Digital Merchandising, Homepage, SEO) on Web & App. You will be responsible for planning, briefing, measuring, and optimizing content by leveraging an understanding of customer behavior, shopping patterns, and content performance. As an integral part of the Digital team, you will ensure the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of key programs, and find new and different ways to engage our customers. You will be a key cross-functional partner to Digital Merchandising and Marketing teams to ensure digital content is aligned to business objectives, on brand, SEO-friendly, relevant, and impactful. You will report to Sr. Manager, Content Strategy & Planning.

The exempt compensation range for this position is $64,300 - $141,200. Compensation may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills and/or experience.

You will:
- Partner with Digital Merchandising, Merchandising, and Marketing teams to understand business objectives and craft digital experiences aligned to those goals.
- Manage planning for key campaigns: define objectives and strategy, plan content placements and timing, and create effective creative and copy briefs for partner teams.
- Develop tactics to elevate the brand and digital consumer experience, aiming to attract, educate, and convert customers.
- Partner with the Marketing team to identify content opportunities using keyword research and SEO guidelines to optimize existing content and develop new content.
- Ensure content is original, authentic, informative, on brand and SEO friendly while ensuring all compliance standards and requirements are met.
- Ensure successful content launches by auditing content for accuracy, customer-right journeys, and alignment to business objectives.
- Read and react to business and content performance with regular read-outs on content results (e.g., traffic, conversion, revenue, etc.) to senior leaders, surfacing insights and identifying actionable short-term optimizations and long-term strategies.
- Conduct competitive analysis and stay up to date on industry trends to identify opportunities to innovative content formats and strategies.
- Maintain content calendars, style guides, metadata frameworks, and content migration plans.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships across teams and continually optimize process and workflow.
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years in eCommerce, Digital Merchandising, Marketing
- Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to successfully multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere, while understanding big-picture objectives and strategy
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to craft actionable insights from data
- Strong creative eye for compelling imagery and copy, with ability to translate content vision into marketing briefs
- Ability to manage project plans, work effectively with cross-functional teams, and adapt to shifting priorities
- Must be a flexible, team player who is able to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Adobe Analytics familiarity and experience A/B a plus
