The Role:


The Social Media & SEO Marketing Manager (SSMM) drives organic and paid social media and search marketing programs, ensuring IGELs brand consistency, digital presence, and engagement across key platforms. This role enhances SEO performance, brand compliance, and thought leadership visibility, supporting IGEL in industry discussions, media placements, and social media content.

The SSMM will act as a brand steward, managing IGELs LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Vimeo, podcasts, and emerging channels to align with corporate branding and content strategy. This role collaborates with internal and external stakeholders globally, including but not limited to PR, product marketing, and channel teams, to execute integrated campaigns that elevate IGELs market presence.

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (Hybrid 3 days in-office, 2 remote)
Reports To: Director of Corporate Communications

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Thought Leadership

  • Develop and execute B2B and non-B2B social media strategies to drive engagement and brand awareness.
  • Manage organic and paid campaigns across all social platforms.
  • Assist in executive visibility initiatives, including LinkedIn thought leadership, ghostwriting, and media content amplification.
  • Oversee real-time social media coverage for global events.

SEO & Website Optimization

  • Implement SEO best practices to improve organic rankings, site traffic, and user engagement.
  • Conduct keyword research, metadata optimization, and technical SEO audits.
  • Track Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and UTM performance metrics to refine strategies.

Brand Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure brand consistency across social media, LinkedIn pages, website content, and digital assets.
  • Conduct brand audits and enforce messaging, visual, and content guidelines.

Content Amplification, Organic & Paid Social

  • Optimize LinkedIn Sponsored Content, InMail, Facebook/Instagram Ads, YouTube, and campaigns using A/B testing, retargeting, and audience segmentation.
  • Support blog, whitepaper, and product content promotion through paid and organic channels.
  • Manage the internal advocacy platform, leveraging gamification (challenges, leaderboards, rewards) to boost employee engagement in social media.
  • Provide training, ensure brand consistency, and track performance metrics to optimize advocacy efforts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Align social, SEO, and branding strategies with marketing, product, sales, PR, and customer service teams.
  • Stay ahead of trends, emerging platforms, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Collaboration with all members of the Marketing Team

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3+ years of B2B SEO & social media marketing experience.
  • Strong LinkedIn B2B marketing, brand governance, and content promotion expertise.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and CRM automation tools (Act-On, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, HubSpot) and social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Buffer or similar).
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills for digital engagement.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to work independently.
  • Travel up to 20%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in B2B tech marketing (social media, brand governance, and SEO).
  • Familiarity with VDI, DaaS, cybersecurity, or enterprise IT solutions.
  • Knowledge of ABM (Account-Based Marketing) and content amplification.
