User Experience Engineer
Where creativity and artistry merges with technology. LufCo is hiring a User Experience Engineer to join a small team environment supporting the Army. This is a hybrid (remote and onsite) position, with 50% in-office support.
Location: LufCo office located in Havre de Grace, MD.
About the Position: Design and develop mission critical capabilities using GPU assets. The User Experience Engineer will complement our teams to review merge requests, utilize our continuous integration / continuous delivery pipelines, and enhance the developer's experience. This person will need a combination of developer skills and artistic skills.
What You'll Need: Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Security Clearance will be required to support this effort. (All that are eligible to obtain a clearance are welcome to apply) B.S. degree in Computer Science or related Engineering and/or Design discipline Functional user interface (UI) design skills deriving mission partner requirements and use cases into storyboards UI development skills with recognized frameworks (e.g. SpringBoot, AngularJS, Type Script, Java, etc.) User Experience (e.g., User Modeling, Product Design, Interaction Design, Interface Design, Information Architecture and Design, Visual & Graphic Design Prototyping with user design tools (e.g., paper, Visual Basic, HTML/CSS, Director, and Flash) Experience with Agile Development Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive Pay: Annual salary ranges from $115,000 to $165,000. Salaries depend on labor category, years of experience, education, skills relevant to the position, and type of contract.
