MARKETING MANAGER

POSITION SUMMARY

Okland is seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Marketing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have technical writing skills as well as the ability to adapt to changing business needs. The Marketing Manager will work closely with teams to create and manage marketing content that supports business development. This includes developing compelling materials such as qualifications packages, RFP responses, and interview presentations. In addition, this position will be in charge of project information materials, maintaining the marketing database/CRM, and ensuring that project profiles, resumes, and content assets are accurate and up to date. The Marketing Manager will also uphold company-wide branding and messaging standards across all marketing materials.

Founded in 1918, Okland Construction operates as a regional general contracting and construction management company with nearly 1,000 employees and growing. It supervises the architectural, engineering, bidding, contracting, building, and inspection from the beginning to the end of the project and specializes in concrete self-preform on a large commercial scale.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Collaborate with pursuit teams to develop high-quality marketing materials that effectively communicate Okland's expertise and project experience.
  2. Partner with project teams to craft a clear, compelling, and client-focused message.
  3. Communicate content needs, deliverables, and deadlines with pursuit team members.
  4. Establish marketing timelines and review periods with pursuit leads.
  5. Create cohesive, visually engaging proposals and presentations.
  6. Support business development with impactful pre-sell materials.
  7. Ensure brand consistency across all marketing assets.
  8. Manage content that enhances Okland's market position and storytelling.
  9. Develop project narratives that highlight Okland's technical expertise and leadership.
  10. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project information in the database/CRM.
  11. Track project milestones to coordinate photography and video documentation.
  12. Foster collaboration and brand stewardship.
  13. Work cross-functionally to support teams and uphold Okland's brand identity.
  14. Facilitate seamless coordination across departments for pursuit efforts.
  15. Assist marketing team members in balancing workloads effectively.
  16. Champion Okland's brand, reinforcing the strategic value of marketing and messaging.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in marketing, graphic design, communications, or a related field.

1+ year of experience in graphic design.

3+ years of experience in proposal development.
