This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of the restaurant industry and consumer behavior. This role will work closely with various teams including culinary, restaurant operations, technology, and procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product and Packaging Development
    • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation and concept development to testing and launch.
    • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify emerging trends, gaps, and opportunities within the restaurant industry.
  2. Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with culinary teams to ideate, test, and refine new menu items or product offerings.
    • Collaborate with procurement and operations to develop go-to-market strategies and ensure successful product launches.
  3. Product Launch & Execution:
    • Lead the development and execution of marketing materials to support product launches, including menu rollouts, promotional campaigns, and customer-facing communications.
    • Ensure operational readiness, including training staff, updating systems, and ensuring supply chain alignment for product availability.
    • Monitor the performance of launched products, tracking key metrics like sales, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
  4. Local Store Marketing
    • Develop plans and materials to support our New Restaurant Openings (NROs).
    • Develop Local Store Marketing toolkit.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in the restaurant industry.
  • Strong track record of successfully launching and managing products, from conception through launch and optimization.
  • Experience working with packaging redesign initiatives a plus.

What you bring:

  • A proactive take charge attitude with a ‘get it done’, consumer-centric approach.
  • An even-keeled demeanor that approaches stress, conflicts, and challenges dispassionately.
  • Enjoys change or improvements to the status quo and is highly energized by the possibility to do things differently.
  • Understands the power of effective communication and interpersonal skills, and can naturally leverage them to drive impact and results.
  • Experience in and a passion for the restaurant industry – and the role dining plays in people's lives and society.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical abilities and experience using data to drive decisions and measure product success.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, while maintaining a focus on operational feasibility.
