This is a full time exempt position with a salary compensation range from $165,000-$175,000. This position can be done remotely based in the US

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Vice President of Product Marketing to lead and elevate our product marketing efforts. This role will be instrumental in defining and executing strategies that drive product awareness, adoption, and revenue growth. As the VP of Product Marketing, you will build and scale our product marketing with a keen focus on go-to-market strategy and execution, aligning cross-functional initiatives, and ensuring our products resonate with target audiences in a competitive market.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategy Development
  • Define and execute the product marketing strategy to support business growth, aligning with overall company goals.
  • Drive the creation of product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that differentiate our offerings in the market.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align product marketing efforts with company vision and priorities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define customer segmentation that includes personas to help us better understand and meet the needs of our audience.

Go-to-Market Leadership
  • Oversee the development and execution of go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new and existing products.
  • Align product marketing efforts with overall business objectives and revenue goals.
  • Lead successful product launches, ensuring all teams are equipped with the tools and information needed for success.
  • Partner with product management to align on product roadmaps, features, and customer-centric enhancements.

Team Building and Leadership
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Provide clear direction, set measurable goals, and ensure accountability across stakeholders.

Market and Competitive Intelligence
  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Act as the customer advocate within the organization, influencing product development and marketing strategies.
  • Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to drive growth and expand market share.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of current and future competitors and develop strategies to win against them.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with product management, sales, marketing, and customer advocacy teams to develop sales enablement tools, training, and materials.
  • Collaborate with peers in marketing to create impactful campaigns that drive lead generation and customer acquisition.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across functions to measure the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives and refine strategies accordingly.

Content Creation and Communication
  • Oversee the development of compelling product-related content, including case studies, whitepapers, webinars, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with product management on developing internal communications and training to ensure transparency, alignment and cross-function coordination of GTM.
  • Ensure internal communications and commitments are aligned to help drive appropriate external communications.
  • Act as spokesperson for the products in briefings, media interviews and industry events as needed.


Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • 10+ years of product marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of scaling product marketing efforts in [specific industry, e.g., SaaS, tech, consumer goods, etc.].
  • Mortgage technology background preferred, bonus if in origination and/or servicing
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
  • Expertise in developing and multiple GTM strategies at once.
  • Strong understanding of market segmentation, customer personas, and buyer journeys.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
  • Outstanding communication and storytelling skills, with an aptitude for simplifying complex concepts.
  • Collaborative mindset, with experience driving alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to translate technical features into clear value propositions for customers.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Remote role with option to be in office part-time (Broomall, PA).
  • May require occasional travel.
  • May require flexibility in hours.
