Essential Functions
- Regularly operate all audio/video equipment and set up systems and equipment. On the job training available.To include:
- Camera operation
- Audio operation
- Lighting operation
- Running presentation software
- Stage set-up and breakdown
- Assisting in the recording and resale office.
- Regularly set up and wire portable audio and video systems. Responsible for hanging banners, wiring, etc. as needed to set up rooms and/or auditorium for customers/guests.
- Comply will all safety policies, practices and procedures and report any unsafe activities or conditions immediately to the supervisor.
- Occasionally perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain an accurate knowledge of the daily work list and weekly set-up needs.
- Responsible for the event configuration setup as detailed on the Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), to include;
- Tables
- Chairs
- Water/cups
- Notepads, pens
- Audio/video equipment
- Other equipment asrequested.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- A combination of education and experience equivalent to an Associate's degree in related field ora minimum of 1years relevant experience working with Audio/Video equipment.
- Hospitality experience strongly desired.
- Must have demonstrated good communication skills, client relation skills, and a commitment to providing responsive and conscientious customer service.
- Must be detail oriented with knowledge of a wide variety of software systems, word processing and spreadsheet applications, prefer Microsoft Suite.
- Must have working knowledge of all types of sound systems, computers, and live video operations.
- Must have a strong working knowledge of Media Shout, Pro Presenter, and Power Point on PC and Mac.
- Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing needs, multiple tasks, demandsand work structures.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, emails, and memos.
- Ability to effectively present job-related information upon request to customers, clients, and employees of the organization.
- Proven computer skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills are required.
- Ability to solve practical problems and handle a variety of customer, clients and employee questions.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule formats.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.

Working Conditions
- Moderate physical activity performing strenuous and non-strenuous activities with moderate to occasional loud noise.
- Works indoors and outdoors with exposure to elements including, snow, rain, wind, etc.
- Ability to coordinate work, regularly moves about, able to stand for prolonged periods of time,
- Ability to walk, sit,manual dexterity to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, talk to and hear staff and customer requests.
- Ability toliftor otherwise move objects weighing up to 75pounds.
- Must be able to regularly climb a 15-foot fixed vertical ladder.
- Must have adequate vision to carry out daily activities.
- Work hours: Mon-Sun, nights/weekends and holidays as required.
