The Music Education Student Office Assistant will assist the Office Manager and department faculty throughout the academic year.

This position will help prepare a student to work in an office setting, work with Google Suite, MUED Database, and MUED Instrument and Music/Choral Library.
- Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
- Enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking undergraduate or graduate program. Summer is the only semester in which a student can maintain employment without being enrolled. In this case, the student must be pre-registered for the upcoming fall semester. This exception does not apply to fall or spring semesters.
- Have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN).
- Remain in "valid" Visa status as applicable.
- A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. Students in their first semester can work, even though they do not have an official GPA until the completion of their first semester.
- Federal Work Study student may apply.
- In good disciplinary standing.
- Must be located in the U.S.

The Music Education Student Office Assistant will assist the Office Manager and department faculty throughout the academic year.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must be a MUED Major and hopefully in their 1st or 2nd semester.
- Eligible for WorkStudy position.
- Able to work 15-20 hrs a week, preferably until 5pm: (hours will fluctuate around your semester schedule.)
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Primary responsibilities include coordinating instrument checkouts, managing inventory databases, file scanning and sorting, and other duties as assigned.
- This position requires general computer skills, knowledge of social media. and the ability to multitask.
- Assistant will also have to carry heavy objects, help with room setup (conference, meetings, fairs) as needed, and run errands that are department related.
