BENEFITSCulture focused on trust, growth, and professionalism in a team environmentTeam members treated with respect and outfitted for successHigher than average industry payOutstanding benefits package including medical, dental, vision, short term disability, life insurance, and 401K w/ company match Paid time off POSITION OVERVIEW Perform and utilize detailed site analysis for new projects including grades.Meet and interact with client and sales person as required to create a cohesive landscape design.Make necessary site visits to gain a better understand of grades, elevations, and concepts Schedule and prepare work in a timely manner for Sales Reps, Project Managers, or CSR's.Create construction drawings with details necessary for material ordering, construction and maintenance of products.Research and employ new products and features that create client benefits.Package a complete take off schedule with design to be presented to Director of Pre-Construction for estimating Create sales packages complete with proposal, designs, 2-D, and 3-D imagesResearch products and systems to utilize in our projects. Prepare change order drawings for construction teams and clients on short noticeCommunicate design intent to project managers and team leaders as needed.Complete post-job walk-throughs with sales rep on projects and log valuable information in designer's notebook, as needed.Enhance and maintain appearance of client facing documents and title blockingPromote company brand with contribution to monthly newsletters or marketing publicationsNavigate, prepare, and submit documentation for local permitting and AEP Shoreline PermittingTrain and develop Junior Landscape DesignerAssist other team members as needed for the benefit of the companyFollows company Mission, Vision and Core Values QUALIFICATIONS Valid driver's license insurable by company agentA minimum of a bachelor's degree in Landscape Design, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or related field. Must have minimum of 3-years' experience designing extensive landscape and hardscape projects. Candidate should be proficient in basic computer programs such as Sketch Up, Outlook, Word, Excel, Photoshop, etc.Must have excellent mathematical abilities Candidate must be able to read and write English, legiblyThe individual will have a thorough knowledge of all landscaping practices including lighting, landscaping, water features, hardscaping, carpentry, construction, maintenance, and irrigation.Excellent oral and written communication skills, job planning skills and mechanical aptitude a must.CERTIFICATIONSThis position requires that the individual to have or obtain the following certifications within the first year of employmentVNLA - Certified HorticulturistLandscape Architect (preferred but not required)Compensation details: 65000-115000 Yearly SalaryPI964c7cabc31d-25660-37035568
