Description

Job Summary

• Serve as Maternity Center greeter and provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors
• Use critical thinking skills to track and manage maternity visitation according to hospital policy and safety
• Assist with duties related to patient education classes and events including event planning, promotion, registration, and correspondence
• Assist with duties related to hospital's reputation management program including correspondence with department directors
• Receive, process and track sponsorship requests made to the Marketing Department
• Receive and process emails and e-card submissions from the community
• Assist with special projects as assigned
• Assist with department administrative needs including monthly receipts and supplies
• Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.
• Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.

Qualifications

Education

High school diploma or equivalent, associate degree preferred

Experience

Minimum of two years experience in customer service role, healthcare experience a plus

Additional Skills/Abilities

Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel

Must be comfortable engaging with patients and visitors in a professional and proactive manner
