Interior Design Summer Intern

Responsibilities:
Observe and participate in design meetings
Create electronic and physical finish boards
Maintain and organize finish library
Gain familiarity with associated design technologies such as Revit, InDesign, Sketchup, etc.
May assist with drawing corrections as needed
Assist Interior Designers and Project Managers with various aspects of the design process, including concept imagery, selection of finishes, lighting, and furniture
Attend and assist designers with site visits as needed
Participate in team meetings when schedule permits
General administrative tasks
Education and Experience:
Currently attending an accredited college or university to obtain Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture Capable of prioritizing and executing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Professionalism with clients, vendors, co-workers, etc. Takes instruction well and executes tasks efficiently under guidance Knowledge of the design process, including FF&E, furniture systems and specifications, and finish materials Basic graphic and visualization skills, as well as verbal, written and presentation skills Basic knowledge in Adobe InDesign and PhotoShop Encouraged to attend industry events
