Aquent Studios is looking for a Product Design Leadto help our client deliver exceptional and innovative product design solutions for end-to-end user journeys that satisfy user needs and business objectives. This software company produces Enterprise-level, service desk software.
While this work will have some strategic nature, it will mainly focus on lower level integration strategy across several different products. It will consist largely of pattern work for their PLG (Product Led Growth) initiatives for in-product GenAI experiences. It will include design strategy and pattern design, in addition to being a direct point of contact with the Product Manager for PLG. Expect 75% of your time to be spend managing others' work, and 25% to be spent creating UX deliverables yourself as an independent contributor.
In this role, the Product Design Lead will: Create high-fidelity specifications for deliverables such as product design experiences, design languages, and frameworks across one or more domains or key strategic initiatives Create and continuously improve BU- and EO-level design processes Demonstrate mastery in multiple product design disciplines, such as UX, VX, Architecture/Systems Lead or contribute significantly to the successful completion of large, complex, cross-functional projects and multi-release initiatives Deliver new, cutting-edge experiences that anticipate future customer needs, exceed customer expectations, and align with the business and company's strategic vision Identify highly complex customer problems and initiates and leads effort to resolve them Consistently provide highly informed, strategic recommendations that influence decision makers and functional leaders at product or business unit (BU) level Have expert comprehension of personas, products, and technical capabilities Model and inspire strategic innovation by thinking boldly-well outside of current systems and approaches-while also keeping strategic goals and priorities in mind Catalyze and lead productive and energetic discussions about possible new directions, thoughtfully considering every perspective and ensuring that all participants are engaged Evaluate and refine innovative ideas based on provided or discerned needs or criteria Be comfortable with and adept at navigating ambiguity Identify opportunities for collaborative "better together" initiatives to deliver increased customer value Provide direction, vision, and leadership for large collaborative efforts Channel the diverse opinions of team members into consensus decisions and action plans that align with purpose and objectives Must haves:
Four or more years of experience as a user experience designer, product designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role. A track record of designing and delivering digital products that align customer needs and business goals; illustrated with a portfolio. Experience in a range of design approaches, methods, and tools that you use to plan and estimate complex projects Four or more years of experience with Figma
