Are you a strategic B2B SaaS writer who thrives on crafting content that drives awareness, engagement, and conversions? Do you enjoy shaping thought leadership narratives, optimizing content for SEO, and tracking performance to refine strategy? If so, this role is for you.

Inkit is seeking a B2B SaaS Content Writer to play a critical role in shaping our brand voice and content strategy. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll be responsible for writing, optimizing, and analyzing content across multiple platforms, ensuring our messaging aligns with Inkit's business objectives.

This role is a blend of content creation, editorial planning, thought leadership development, and performance optimization. You'll work closely with our marketing, sales, product, and leadership teams to ensure every piece of content strengthens Inkit's position as a leader in Secure Document Generation (SDG).

  • Has a strong understanding of B2B SaaS marketing and how content fits into the buyer's journey.
  • Is skilled in SEO, content optimization, and performance tracking to drive organic traffic and lead generation.
  • Thrives in thought leadership writing, helping executives establish authority through PR and social content.
  • Loves collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, product, sales, and leadership teams.
    Understands how to balance creativity with strategy to produce high-performing content.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Strategy

  • Lead the development of high-quality B2B SaaS content-including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, solution briefs, and long-form guides.
  • Write compelling thought leadership pieces to position Inkit as an industry leader in document security.
  • Assist in planning and managing the editorial calendar/content calendar to align with business goals and product launches.
  • Optimize content for SEO, ensuring high rankings, increased organic traffic, and strong engagement.
  • Develop customer-centric content tailored to different stages of the sales funnel.
  • Collaborate with product marketing and sales enablement teams to create high-impact content that drives conversions.

Thought Leadership & Social Content

  • Ghostwrite LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and Threads content for Inkit's CEO, Head of Product, Head of Engineering, and Head of Sales.
  • Craft PR articles and bylined pieces for executives to publish in industry publications.
  • Develop social content for Inkit's LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter), and Threads profiles to engage audiences.

Multimedia & Educational Content

  • Write scripts for podcasts hosted by Inkit's Head of Marketing and prepare content for podcasts featuring the CEO.
  • Develop webinar content, presentation scripts, and talking points for marketing-led webinars.
  • Lead content creation for Inkit Academy, writing how-to videos and structured courses to educate customers and prospects.

Content Analytics & Performance Optimization

  • Own content performance tracking and analytics reporting, measuring organic traffic growth, engagement, backlinks, and lead generation from content.
  • Analyze content effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Conduct content audits to refresh and optimize existing content based on performance data.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of B2B SaaS content writing experience.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing B2B SaaS content, including thought leadership, SEO blogs, whitepapers, and case studies.
  • SEO expertise-experience writing content that ranks, converts, and drives organic traffic.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into accessible, engaging content for different audiences.
  • Experience managing editorial and content calendars to align with marketing goals.
  • Proficiency with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SurferSEO, SEMrush, or Ahrefs) to track and optimize content performance.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with leadership, product, and marketing teams on storytelling and messaging.

Nice to Have

  • Experience writing for executive ghostwriting, PR, and social media thought leadership.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, WordPress, LinkedIn Ads, and content automation tools.
  • Background in content marketing for cybersecurity, compliance, or SaaS security solutions.

Summary

  • Full-time (FTE)
  • $65K-$75K salary (depending on experience)
